Step into the vibrant and eclectic world of VENIOR: a singer, songwriter, producer, painter and “trashion” designer from Finland. Inspired by the earth and the cosmic mysteries of life, VENIOR has created an unique style, which she describes as “Freeky Punky Pop. Prepare to be mesmerized as she weaves wild, experimental beats with powerful vocals, heavy bass sounds, and a strong message, accompanied by her mysterious and colourful visual art world that serves as a portal into the liberating “Neon Pussy Universe”. Dressed in her own recycled “trashion” designs, VENIOR aims to challenge the status quo and be part of a movement for change. Her mission is to take you on a transformative journey, inspiring you to connect with your inner magical and powerful being and awaken curiosity to explore life in extraordinary ways.

VENIOR, first emerged in 2015 and created a buzz with songs like “Sugar Rush” and “Na Na Na”. She’s travelled the world working with top producers and artists like Nova Wav (Beyonce, Rihanna), Zara Larsson, LP and Kumi Koda and played the biggest festivals in Finland. 2021 saw the release of Venior’s debut EP “Free-K” and her full-length album Free-K Revolution dropped early 2023 – a sonic trip about system change, activism, cosmic dreams and the future. It’s colourful, energetic, philosophical and mystical, an expression of VENIOR’s unique art universe.

VENIOR was born under the full moon in Helsinki in 1994 and grew up in the small suburban town Kauniainen, but spent the summers with her family on a tiny island in the archipelago without electricity or running water. She started playing the piano at the age of six and wrote her first songs a few years later. As a child she used to sing along to her favourite artists like Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Tina Turner and at age 11 decided that she wanted to be a full time artist. After graduating from high school she left home to embark on her artistic adventure. VENIOR moved first to Stockholm, then London and continued travelling from studio to studio working with producers and songwriters from all around the world. Her path eventually led her to Berlin where she instantly felt at home in the vibrant art scene of the city. “Berlin completely changed me, I found a place where I felt free to explore, it made me push my limits of what I am capable of doing artistically and I ended up creating my own artist universe”.

VENIOR is an outspoken environmental activist and wants her art to be an expression of her activism. After many intense years in Berlin where she resisted the modern over-consumption lifestyle by recycling her food – dumpster diving after the super markets’ closed – as well as reusing clothes that people throw away to turn them into new creations, VENIOR is now allocated in the Pyrenees mountains of south of France where she is having a needed break from the buzz of the city to be completely immersed in nature while working on her new art project.
